JD:

Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud

·     Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

·     1-5 + years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform), with a focus on IaC and immutable infrastructure

·     1-5 + years of experience with GCP cloud foundational offerings IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage and Compute

·     In-depth understanding of Google Cloud's GKE Enterprise, Serverless and other technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis.

·     Software development experience in one of the OO programming language: Java, Go and or Python will be a added advantage

·     Understanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility.

·     Strong background of Container & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift

·     Understanding of Traffic Flow Management, to include Service Mesh concepts, with experience in Istio preferred, as well as how GTM and LTMs manage traffic flows.

·     Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus and OTEL.

·     FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferred

·     Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions

·     Confirmed support of production systems at scale.

·     Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential
