Role/Title: GCP Architect – Network Specialist (Hybrid)

Experience: 7 –12+ years

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai

Role Overview

The GCP Architect (Network Specialist) is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-grade network architectures on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on hybrid connectivity, secure network design, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and integration with third-party security and connectivity solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture and delivery role, supporting on-prem to GCP hybrid networking, Shared VPC architectures, secure traffic flows, and cost-optimized connectivity, aligned to FinOps principles.

Mandatory Technical Skills

· GCP Networking: VPC, Subnetworks, Routes, Firewall Rules, Shared VPC

· Hybrid Connectivity: Cloud VPN, Dedicated / Partner Interconnect, Cloud Router, BGP

· Load Balancing: GCP L4/L7 load balancers

· DNS: Cloud DNS (public, private, forwarding, peering)

· Security: Firewall rules, Cloud Armor, secure traffic flows

· Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible

· Third-Party: Zscaler, SD-WAN (integration exposure)

· FinOps fundamentals for network cost optimization
