Type of contract: Contract of Employment

Working hours: Regular working hours, from 9am till 5pm CET, from monday till friday

Location and Work Mode: Gdansk or Warsaw, hybrid module of work 2/3 days from the office.

We are looking for a skilled Automation Developer to join our automation team and work under the guidance of the Automation Lead. The role involves designing and implementing automation solutions using Ansible playbooks to streamline IT operations across OS, database, middleware, and network environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automating operational tasks.
    • Implement automation scripts for OS, database, middleware, and network operations.
    • Work closely with the Automation Lead and other team members to deliver automation solutions.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to automation workflows.
    • Prepare technical documentation for developed playbooks and scripts.
    • Provide regular updates on task progress and challenges to the Automation Lead.
    • Ensure automation solutions adhere to organizational standards, security, and compliance requirements.
    • Perform testing and validation of automation scripts before deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in IT operations with hands-on experience in automation.
    • Proficiency in Ansible and YAML scripting.
    • Good understanding of OS (Linux/Windows), databases, middleware, and networking fundamentals.
  • Scripting Skills: Knowledge of Python, Shell, or PowerShell for custom automation tasks.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Certifications in Ansible or Linux administration.
