Citrix Specialist tasked with administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing the Citrix environment, addressing intricate technical challenges that demand advanced expertise. You will ensure effective communication and swift resolution during crisis to minimize downtime and user impact. Additionally, you will maintain the overall health and performance of the Citrix infrastructure, aligning with the organization's needs and user requirements, and document corrective actions and involved in the service improvement programs.
Role
- Administer and support Citrix CVAD/DAAS & WEM, including upgrades and deployments
- Troubleshooting, documentation, and migration/rollback management
- Manage Windows, GPOs, networking health, SCCM imaging, and GPU/3D environments
- Communicate with stakeholders and resolve issues using ITIL practices
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Citrix infrastructure and daily operations (BAU)
- Handle incidents, crisis communication, and SLA adherence
- Support deployments, patching, image releases, and compliance
- Perform monitoring, reporting, housekeeping, and root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement and collaborate with technical teams
- Provide user support and conduct trainings
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Citrix CVAD, WEM, VDI, SCCM, Windows Server
- Scripting/automation and troubleshooting expertise
- Knowledge of networking, security, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Experience with profile management (UPM, FSLogix) and GPU environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- NetScaler, Terraform/Ansible, App Layering, Citrix Hypervisor
- Storage (SAN/NAS), HPE hardware, DFS, DPM
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- CCP-V or strong CVAD/WEM expertise (App-V/MSIX knowledge is a plus)
