You’ll be at the forefront of testing next-generation public facing, social media applications. Your primary focus will be on validating Family of Applications on various platforms (mobile and desktop) for functional, system, integration and nonfunctional testing requirements. This is a hands-on testing role where precision, curiosity, and a passion for quality are key.
- Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Expertise in functional testing techniques and tools
- Develop detailed test plans for web based and device-based applications/features (social media applications (Family of Apps) and their software features).
- Develop detailed test cases/test suits for the application features, change requests and new biz requirements
- Execute test cases to test new features, changes, defects regression and new releases.
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop based).
- Identify, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues and verify fixes.
- Maintain test environments and manage test data for repeatable validation.
- Test suite and defect log maintenance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
- 🛠️ Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Experience in test management, defect management activities and related tools
- Good understanding of application management processes – Software development, DevOps, deployments, quality assurance
- Familiarity with social media applications, platforms and media is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross functional teams and stakeholders (biz, dev, infra, security etc)
