Job Title: Application Support & Development Lead

Location: Gdansk, Poland (Hybrid working)

Experience: 8+ Years

Languages: Spanish & English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders in Spanish and English; manage expectations and ensure timely updates.
  • Lead and manage a team (task allocation, guidance, mentoring) and drive ownership across support and development activities.
  • Prepare and present Weekly Status Reports (WSR) and Monthly Status Reports (MSR), including risks, issues, and progress updates.
  • Apply strong ITIL knowledge and contribute to implementation/improvement of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request)
  • Handle risk management and escalation management, ensuring critical incidents are resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP) readiness, including participation in DR drills and documentation updates.
  • Act as a customer-facing point of contact for reported issues; coordinate triage, prioritization, and resolution.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in application support and development .
  • Good experience with Visual Basic, .NET development, SQL Server
  • Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, and customer communication skills.
  • Solid experience in ITIL-based process execution/implementation. 
  • Experience with DR/BCP planning and execution.
