Work Environment:

 

  •  Hybrid – from Gdańsk/Warsaw, 3 days from the office

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Intermediate-level support for Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Performing routine server administration tasks.
  • Patching, monitoring, and assisting with server deployments and operational improvements
  • Setup of resource pools and a VMware Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS) cluster, Resource Management, Resource Monitoring along with VMware High Availability (HA) cluster.
  • ESX Server Installation and configuration of virtual switches, network connections and port groups configure Storage.
  • Virtual Center Installation and configuration and Installation of its components Perform Level 2 Support & troubleshooting with ESXi Operating system.
  • ESXi servers patching using Update Manager.
  • ESXi/vSphere Hardware Upgrade, Host Upgrade.

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in support and administer Windows server version 2016/2019/2022.
  • Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.).
  • Good Knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Windows server (Blue Screen Errors, performance issues, permissions issues).
  • Good troubleshooting skill in Windows server recovery.
  • Good understanding and troubleshooting skill of Windows Cluster.
  • Good understanding of infra servers like Terminal Server, KMS Server, Failover cluster, File and Print server implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of Windows DHCP server and related issues.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory Services and related roles (FSMO roles)
  • Good understanding and troubleshooting skill in AD replication, Sites, KCC, etc.
  • Good troubleshooting skill in GPO related issues.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft DNS and related issues.
  • Good understanding of File Replication Service (FRS) and Distributed File System (DFS).
  • Experience in problem solving Capability in Nutanix, IBM, HP and Dell Hardware.
  • Understanding of Windows Server patch management tools like WSUS, SCCM.
  • Knowledge on Backup – BackupExec, VERITAS, IBM Tivoli.
  • Knowledge on Antivirus - Trend, Symantec, Microsoft Forefront and related issues.
  • Good Exposure to various tools and technologies (VMware, Citrix, Virtualization etc).
  • Microsoft and other technical/industry certifications desirable.
  • Experience in Production Server Environment with Wintel servers.
  • Strong Knowledge about user administration and File system management activities.
  • Experience in OS Hardening, performance and OS tuning.
  • Experience in Production Server Environment with Wintel servers.
