Job Description

Role: Generative AI Copilot – AI Architect & Developer

Role Purpose

Act as the AI Architect and Lead Developer for the account, driving AI infusion, Generative AI best practices, and Copilot adoption across projects. The role focuses on solution architecture, hands-on development, and innovation, enabling teams to translate ideas into scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Solution Design

Own end-to-end architecture for Generative AI and Copilot-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and enterprise alignment.
Translate ideas and use cases generated by delivery teams into clear AI solution architectures, reference designs, and implementation blueprints.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate LLMs, AI frameworks, and Copilot patterns for different business and technology scenarios.

Generative AI & Copilot Development

Design and develop GenAI-powered solutions using GPT-based models and Copilot capabilities to enhance development, operations, analytics, and business workflows.
Lead hands-on development and POCs, including prompt engineering, orchestration layers, integrations, and automation.
Enable Copilot adoption across the SDLC by defining best practices for usage, customization, and value realization.

Best Practices & AI Infusion

Establish and drive Generative AI best practices, including prompt standards, reusable patterns, guardrails, and performance optimization techniques.
Guide teams on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI, aligned with enterprise governance and data privacy standards.
Continuously identify opportunities to infuse AI into existing applications and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.

Innovation & New Solution Development

Actively contribute to new solution ideation, accelerators, and reusable assets for the account.
Provide the architectural perspective for innovation ideas, assessing feasibility, risks, integration impact, and scalability.
Drive creation of POCs, demos, and technical showcases to support customer discussions and leadership reviews.

Technical Leadership & Enablement

Serve as a Generative AI technical advisor to architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams within the account.
Coach teams on AI tools, GPT capabilities, Copilot usage, and prompt engineering techniques.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align AI roadmaps with customer transformation goals.

Required Technical Expertise (Summary)

Strong knowledge of Generative AI, GPT models, Copilot platforms, and AI solution architecture.
Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and scaling AI solutions and POCs.
Expertise in prompt engineering, API-based AI integrations, and enterprise system enablement

1.      		 Support sales team to create wins % of proposals with Quality Index  >7, timely support of the proposals, identifying opportunities/ leads to sell services within/ outside account (lead generation), no. of proposals led
2. Delivery Responsibility in Projects/Programs and Accounts   (a)    Solution acceptance of Integration architecture (from client and/or internal Wipro architecture leadership), and 
(b)    effective implementation of integration-approach/solution component by way of sufficient integration-design, methods guidelines and tech-know how of team 
3. Delivery support CSAT, delivery as per cost, quality and timelines, Identify and develop reusable components, Recommend tools for reuse, automation for improved productivity and reduced cycle times
4. Capability development  % trainings and certifications completed, increase in ACE certifications, thought leadership content developed (white papers, Wipro PoVs)
