Job Description

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end transformation advisory engagements across Finance & Accounting operations, from diagnostic and opportunity assessment through future-state design, business case, roadmap, and implementation mobilization.
  • Assess current-state processes, organization, governance, controls, service delivery, data, and technology; identify root causes, pain points, value leakage, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design target operating models and future-state processes across relevant F&A towers such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury, etc.
  • Identify and prioritize transformation strategies ex. process standardization, shared services/GBS, workflow, analytics, ERP enhancement, Automation, AI, and GenAI
  • Build robust business cases using process volumes, effort, cost, productivity, cycle time, control, and experience metrics; define benefit assumptions and realization measures.
  • Create implementation-ready roadmaps covering initiatives, sequencing, dependencies, investment, risks, governance, change impacts, and value realization.

  • Lead workstreams and small engagement teams; plan activities, allocate work, review outputs, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery quality and timeliness.
  • Produce executive-ready deliverables, including assessment packs, operating-model designs, process maps, business cases, transformation roadmaps, etc.
  • Present recommendations to senior client stakeholders, challenge constructively, build alignment, and support decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal technology and delivery teams to shape integrated solutions and support proposals, solutioning, and client pursuits.
  • Contribute to advisory assets, methodologies, benchmarks, reusable accelerators, thought leadership, and capability development within the practice.
  • Stay current on F&A transformation trends and enabling technologies, including ERP platforms, process mining, intelligent automation, analytics, AI, and GenAI.

Critical skills required

  • Mandatory Finance & Accounting transformation experience across P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A or Treasury
  • Strong transformation advisory capabilities, including process assessment, operating model design, and roadmap development.
  • Expertise in business case creation, value realization, and FTE/productivity analysis.
  • Advanced data analytics and visualization skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, etc.)  
  • Knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP) and digital technologies including Workflow, RPA, Analytics, AI, GenAI, etc.  
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation & executive communication skills.
  • Ability to lead complex transformation engagements, cross-functional teams, and delivery governance, including prioritization and risk management.
  • Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable, technology-enabled transformation solutions.
  • Consulting mindset with proven ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced client environments.

Candidate specification

  • MBA/PGDM from a premier institute with 6-9 years of consulting and transformation experience OR
  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 9-12 years of consulting and transformation experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP preferred 

 

Mandatory Skills: AI/ML(RPA) .
