Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in retail or food distribution to support analytics, process improvement, and solution delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT, and data teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful delivery of projects that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilitie
· Product & Process Management
o Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, supply chain, inventory, and sales to capture business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
o Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to understand pain points and opportunities in core business processes.
o Define, prioritize, and manage requirements for various business areas, including:
§ Product Lifecycle Management (e.g., product data, specifications, and SKU management).
§ Pricing and Promotions (e.g., strategies, rules, and discount logic).
§ Category Management (e.g., product assortment, planning, and performance).
§ Order Management and Order Fulfillment workflows.
o Analyze and document as-is and to-be business processes, creating and refining user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), and process flow diagrams.
· Supply Chain & Operational Focus
o Apply deep domain knowledge of food distribution operations, including procurement, warehouse management, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
o Partner with supply chain teams to analyze demand, reduce waste, and improve delivery efficiency.
o Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
· Data & Reporting
o Work with data teams to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and dashboards.
o Conduct data analysis to provide business insights and support data-driven decision-making.
o Develop and maintain reports to track key business metrics and project performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Experience: 8–10 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with a strong focus on the retail or food distribution domain.
· Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of core B2B processes, including product, pricing, promotions, and supply chain.
· Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, define reporting requirements, and translate data into actionable business insights.
· Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Technical Proficiency: Experience with tools for requirements management (e.g., JIRA), process mapping (e.g., Visio), and data analysis.
· Agile Proficiency: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within a Scrum or Kanban framework.
