Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Drive end-to-end execution of security infrastructure and application security projects using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for multiple concurrent programs.
- Security Infrastructure & Application Management:
- Oversee implementation and optimization of security tools such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, NAC, Proxy, VPN solutions, endpoint protection, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra (Identity & Access Management).
- Lead application security initiatives including secure SDLC, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and code reviews.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements across infrastructure and applications.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the single point of contact for customers and internal teams.
- Manage CXO/IT Head-level stakeholder communications and expectations.
- Risk & Governance:
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to compliance and security standards.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor technical teams in an onsite-offshore model.
- Drive performance appraisals, talent retention, and career development.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare project plans, design documents, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Provide regular status updates and dashboards to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure security technologies (Firewalls, VPN, WAF, SIEM, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security – Azure/AWS).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and identity management solutions.
- Expertise in application security practices (OWASP Top 10, secure coding, vulnerability scanning, DevSecOps).
- Experience in security transformation and migration projects.
- Project Management:
- Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Asana, and Kanban boards.
- Experience in managing large-scale, complex IT security programs.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.

2. Stakeholder coordination & audit assistance
a. Liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provide timely support and future recommendations
b. Provide assistance in maintaining an information security risk register and help with internal and external audits relating to information security
c. Support audit of security best practices and implementation of security principles across the organization, to meet business goals along with customer and regulatory requirements
d. Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training to team members and customers
e. Provide training to employees on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails
