Experience: 10-14 years

Role: Manager

Shift: 12pm-9:30pm

General:
•    Draft, review or support Legal and Transactions Team
•    70% work contributor
•    30% of people manager
•    Support in hiring, training and managing the Litigation, Technical Due Diligence and Transaction Services team in Gurgaon
•    Manage and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders
•    Periodical reporting and governance
•    Oversee the transition and quality service delivery of the following scope from Client North America to the Gurgaon team, including the drafting and updating of standard operating procedures (SOP)

Transaction Services and Entity Management:
•    Review and negotiate confidentiality agreements, listing agreements etc., including running of redlines as requested by the Client North America Transactions and Legal team
•    Clear conflict checks for confidentiality agreements
•    Collection and storing of closing binders
•    Review, analyze and prepare abstracts from property service contracts 
•    Upload final documents into iManage, S drive or Box
•    DBA renewals
•    Dissolution and withdrawal process
•    Update and maintain data and documents in the Entity Management System
Litigation and Claims Management:
•    Supports the litigation management function for Client and the companies in which it supported.
•    Intake and distribution of service of process, pre-litigation notices, subpoenas, liens, enforcement actions, and other legal documents, in accordance with workflows and mapping.
•    Open new matters in the litigation management software.  
•    Initiate multistage outreach to defense counsel and JV partners, in particular for Fund Litigation and Claims Reporting and Audit Requests.
•    Assisting with the management of electronic case files, litigation deadlines, and master calendar.
•    Supports the entire valuation reporting process with Client and its stakeholders and revise valuation models based on feedback.
•    Assist with word processing tasks, including but not limited to summarizing meeting notes, editing and updating Litigation Team practice manuals and protocols.
•    Assists in ad hoc requests or special projects at the request of Client's Litigation Management Department or at the request of its stakeholders or portfolio companies, most notably data and reporting.
•    Continues to collaborate and enhance processes and procedures to deliver best in class service. 

Technical Due Diligence:
•    Review, analyze and prepare abstracts from third party reports including property condition assessment, environmental site assessment, zoning assessment, flood zone determination, seismic reports etc.
•    Analyze and prepare property condition assessment and seismic report summary
•    Review and extract ESG data from existing properties including green building certification, renewable energy, lighting, smart thermostats etc. 
•    Conduct database management activities such as searching property related documents across multiple repositories including Box, S-Drive and FileStar and uploading the reports to a centralized property risk platform 

Mandatory Skills: Legal Services .
