Senior Manager- Legal Operation
Role Purpose
| The role of Senior Manager – Legal will help build, lead and manage the Legal and Compliance Services team in Gurgaon. The role will be responsible for end‑to‑end service delivery, governance, stakeholder management, and growth of the legal and compliance delivery portfolio. This role acts as the strategic partner to customer's Legal, Compliance, and Risk stakeholders, driving value realization through standardization, efficiencies, technology enablement, and continuous improvement. |

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Service Delivery Leadership
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of legal and compliance services, including contracting, legal research, regulatory compliance support, risk assessments, policy governance, entity management, and operational reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, turnaround times (TAT), confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational excellence through standardized playbooks, SLA frameworks, effective escalation management, and root cause analysis.
2. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer’s senior leadership.
- Conduct periodic governance reviews (monthly/quarterly) covering performance metrics, insights, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain strong alignment with customer business priorities, risk appetite, and compliance expectations.
3. Strategic Planning & Transformation
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute transformation roadmaps.
- Drive process standardization, harmonization, and automation initiatives.
- Lead operational transitions including knowledge transfers, ramp‑ups, and change management.
4. Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage account P&L, forecasting, budgeting, billing accuracy, and margin optimization.
- Identify and execute cost‑reduction initiatives through offshoring, automation, Lean frameworks, and resource optimization.
- Prepare financial performance reviews, variance analysis, and growth projections.
5. People Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and manage multi‑location delivery teams comprising lawyers, paralegals, and compliance analysts.
- Oversee capacity planning, workforce management, talent development, succession planning, and utilization optimization.
- Foster a strong culture of compliance, confidentiality, ethics, and continuous learning.
6. Innovation, Insights & Value Realization
- Develop and leverage BI dashboards to track SLA performance, volume trends, demand forecasting, and risk indicators.
- Continuously quantify, track, and communicate value delivered, including cost savings, cycle time improvements, and benefits from standardization.
