Job Description: Candidates will gain exposure to a wide range of industries and investment structures. As a result of the breadth of the experience, candidates will develop a unique understanding of companies, investments and capital structures, create and work on various financial models, performing model analysis. This candidate will work directly with the investment team. • Creating and working on multiple detailed Financial Models (especially 3 statement models from scratch) including revenue build and working schedules • Perform model scenarios, sensitivity analysis, waterfall, DCF and relative valuation, return analysis • Broker consensus evaluation using broker models and research reports • Research on public, non-public companies, gather data to support and input on financial models • Sourcing/research relevant information required for the company or industry or peer set using various databases, platforms and secondary research • Creation/maintenance of sector or industry specific trading comps database using tools such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc. using formulas driven excel templates • Tracking earning releases of public companies and updating financial models • Extend support on pieces of investment committee documents, presentations and memorandums • Maintaining investment data in multiple systems • Maintaining investment restriction and assisting with client investment allocations • Creating new and enhancing existing reporting and visualization • Tracking and reporting the progress of projects by liaising with various groups • Partnering with the clients Technology Innovations team to automate, monitor and improve processes • Implement new processes/systems creating operational efficiencies and reporting enhancements • Preparing materials for internal and external meetings, and tracking deliverables • Partner with Business Finance and Investor Relations teams for client and investor meetings and inquires • Provide analysis and support to the group and Management on an ad hoc basis • Special projects in support of the group's products Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (MBA/CFA) • 5+ years of relevant experience. Software industry exposure would be a plus • Strong financial modeling skills, experience in working on financial models creation, analysis • Experience in analyzing and conducting fundamental due diligence • Candidate should have a fair knowledge on Deals and Investment Memos • Very good data analysis skills, strong problem-solving ability, logical and analytical skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word) • Exposure and ability to use various platforms such as Bloomberg, CapIQ including extracting data using formula builder • Ability to summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to quickly digest new information and learn new businesses and processes • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks • Ability to operate across multiple projects and work in a fast pace environment • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
