Role Purpose

The HR Business partner UKI (Employee relations) is responsible for the business unit and geography of UKI for all employee relations and related topics.

He/she will work closely with the HR and business leadership of UKI in designing a ER strategy and implementation for the unit.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Be the point of contact for business and HR team with regards to the topics of Employee relations in UKI region.
  2. To Partner with the business to identify and fulfill short term business needs towards talent management
  3. Sharing various data points to the on the employee relations cases
  4. Handling of legal proceedings if any
  5. Collaborate with business team to ensure compliance and traction across various employee life-cycle processes
  6. Plan and execute Engagement Activities with ER representative (European workers council for e.g.)
  7. Interact with other functions to resolve process breakdown issues
  8. Manage employee conflict, issues and grievances and act as a facilitator
  9. Build the HR brand in the unit and external forums through participation in conclaves, seminars etc.

Skills and qualifications:

  1. Comprehensive practical experience in all responsibilities of HR Management
  2. Graduation or Post Graduation with specialization in HR and legal in Germany preferred
  3. About 7+ years of Human Resources Management Experience in an international company, preferably in the area of employee relations focussed in UKI geography
  4. Ability to empathize and understand perspectives of others
  5. Strong experience in managing Employee relation and related topics. Deep understanding of local Labor laws and legislation
  6. Business fluency in English
