Job Description: 

HW Technician

Setup/HW technician job requirements

1) Installation, maintenance, and repairs of ATE/SLT hardware.

2) Thermal setup installation (pedestal, TIM, plunger/lid) and its operation on plunger and ATC lid.

3) MB and E-board installation. Troubleshooting of SLT setup (E-board, socket, & thermal head) and ATE setup (loadboard, socket, & plunger).

4) Test setup validation with a golden unit. Ongoing socket monitoring/maintenance.

5) Support ENG requests.

 

Skillset

1) Know IC testing setups (ATE or/and SLT) and troubleshooting. [must have]

2) Know thermal control and chiller operation. [nice to have]

3) Capable to read mechanical drawings and know general mechanical knowledge. [nice to have]

4) Able to repair socket under microscope. Good vision and stable handling tiny pin. [must have]

5) Able to lift 25 pounds load-board for ATE setup installation and debug. [must have]

Mandatory Skills: VLSI Board Design .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $110,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
