Overview

This career opportunity within our career framework is at Partner level and is for the Wipro Consulting – Energy business unit. The role as a Consulting Engagement Partner will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally. 

This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas; 
•    Transformation themes for Midstream Oil & Gas 
•    Consulting capabilities across SCADA, IT/OT, AI/ML, GIS, Enterprise Transformation, Digital & CIO Advisory, and Talent & Change 

Our Client Partner is expected to build C-level relationships, and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally. 

Responsibilities 
•    Growth: Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning
•    Relationships: As a Consulting Engagement Partner, you bring deep expertise and good industry connections to develop the consulting and advisory business
•    Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within designated strategic clients
•    Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.  
•    Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare

Skills and Qualifications
    Client Engagement & Business Development:
o    Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives.
o    Proactively identify new opportunities and lead the development of innovative offerings and commercial models.
o    Lead strategic consulting engagements across Midtsream energy operations across Storage, Transportation, Gathering, and Processing business functions and SCADA modernization, IT/OT convergence, AI/ML driven asset optimization, GIS integration, & Enterprise Transformation systems.
    Solution Leadership & Delivery Oversight:
o    Align technology solutions to business outcomes and operational KPIs such as throughput, asset integrity and regulatory compliance.
o    Guide cross-functional teams in delivering transformation and value realization programs in achieving measurable improvements in safety, reliability, and digital maturity.
o    Ensure alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements in the Midstream energy sector.
    Thought Leadership & Innovation:
o    Represent the firm in analyst briefings, industry forums, and strategic transformations.
o    Develop reusable assets and best practices based on prior engagements.
o    Elevate the firm's market positioning through insights and thought leadership.
    Financial & Operational Excellence:
o    Drive consulting revenue growth, improve margins, and ensure billability/utilization.
o    Manage pricing models, and pass-through costs.
    People Development & Mentorship:
o    Mentor junior consultants and build high-performing teams.
o    Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
    Requirements:
o    Minimum of 15+ years of experience in management and technology consulting of which at least 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, primarily in Midstream (across Storage, Transportation, Gathering, and Processing business functions and SCADA modernization, IT/OT convergence, AI/ML driven asset optimization, GIS integration, & Enterprise Transformation systems).
o    Proven track record in proactive pipeline generation and driving growth.
o    Strong strategic client development skills.
o    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o    Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
o    Deep understanding of Midstream energy operations and regulatory requirements.
o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $190,000.00  to $265,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
