This career opportunity within our career framework is at Partner level and is for the Wipro Consulting – Energy business unit. The role as a Consulting Partner will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging industry capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas;
- Transformation themes for Downstream Oil & Gas
- Consulting capabilities across Refining/Operations/Marketing/Retail apps, Enterprise Transformation, Digital Advisory, AI Strategy, CxO Advisory, and Talent & Chang
Our Consulting Partner is expected to build senior client stakeholder relationships, and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally.

- Growth (origination): Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning
- Relationships: As a Consulting Partner, you bring deep expertise and good industry connections to develop the consulting and advisory business
- Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within designated strategic clients
- Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.
- Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare

Skills and Qualifications
- Client Engagement & Business Development
- Build and nurture executive relationships across Refining, Lubricants, Retail, and Specialty Chemicals.
- Identify and shape strategic opportunities in Digital Refinery, IT/OT strategies, Digital Twin, Intelligent Supply Chain, and Customer-Centric Marketing.
- Lead pursuits involving platforms like AVEVA, AspenTech, Kongsberg, Bentley, GE APM, Voyage, and PROS.
- Solution Delivery & Execution Oversight
- Architect and oversee delivery of domain-driven solutions in:
- Asset Performance Management (APM)
- Predictive Maintenance
- Asset Ops and Reliability
- Real-Time Operations (IT/OT)
- Refining – STO (shutdown & turnaround)
- Pricing and Commercial Excellence
- Drive transformation across refining operations, lubricants modernization, and retail digitization.
- Architect and oversee delivery of domain-driven solutions in:
- Thought Leadership & Innovation:
- Represent Wipro in industry forums like Microsoft, Ceraweek, AVEVA World and GE Vernova APM Annual Events.
- Develop reusable assets and co-innovation models with hyperscalers and OEMs (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, GE Vernova).
- Financial & Operational Excellence
- Drive revenue growth and margin improvement across Downstream portfolios.
- Manage pricing models, utilization, and delivery excellence.
- People Development & Mentorship
- Mentor consultants and build high-performing teams with deep Downstream domain expertise.

- Qualifications:
- 15+ years in management consulting, with 10+ in Downstream Oil & Gas.
- Proven track record in pipeline generation and strategic growth.
- Deep expertise in:
- Refining operations and digital transformation
- Lubricants and specialty chemicals
- Retail and mobility solutions
- Supply chain and logistics optimization
- Strong familiarity with platforms:
- AVEVA Platform, AspenTech, GE APM, Voyage, PROS, PriceFX, SAP, OSIsoft PI, Honeywell, Symphony AI.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00 to $265,000.00.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
