“Azure Solution Architect"

Role Overview
The Azure Solution Architect is responsible for end to end solution architecture of rapidly delivered, business critical digital solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on speed, security, and scalability, working closely with product owners, developers, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams to design and govern solutions from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and produce Solution Intent (SI), High Level Design (HLD) and architecture
  • Design Azure based target architectures covering compute, networking, identity, data, integration, and security
  • Ensure alignment with NESO Azure landing zones, security standards, and SDA/ARB expectations
  • Provide architecture input for rapid prototypes and MVPs, ensuring production readiness
  • Define and govern Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) and CI/CD patterns
  • Embed security by design and support security reviews and approvals
  • Work closely with delivery, DevOps, network, and security teams throughout build and deployment

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as an Azure Solution Architect in delivery focused environments
  • Proven background designing cloud native Azure solutions
  • Experience producing HLDs, SIs, and architecture decision records
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, and DevOps practices
  • Comfortable working at pace while maintaining architectural quality

Desirable

  • Experience in Rapid Development / MVP environments
  • Exposure to operational or decision support
  • Experience in regulated or CNI environments”
