Active Directory

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in on premise active directory
  • Design an Active Directory structure for a multinational organization with multiple forests and domains while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery?
  • Authentication & Silo polices
  • Understanding of Red Forest concept & RBAC model
  • Securing active directory environment
  • Fine Grain password policies
  • Usage of ADSI Edit and LDP for recovery or advanced troubleshooting.
  • Purpose of Kerberos delegation, and when would you use constrained delegation versus unconstrained delegation
  • Understanding of SPN’s working
  • AD Lightweight Directory Tools (AD LDS) in an enterprise environment.

 

  • Expert knowledge on DC partition, FSMO roles, seizure, and transfer.
  • Understanding of Forest and Domain level functional level.
  • Understanding of LDAP.LDS.
  • Hands on experience and strong troubleshooting skill in AD replication, Sites, KCC, etc., experience in planning and implementation of Active Directory Replication.

Entra ID

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience on Entra ID
  • Password less authentication, and its advantages over traditional methods.
  • Conditional Access policies & Configuration
  • Mitigate risk of phishing attacks using Entra ID

Azure

Networking and Connectivity

  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between an Azure Virtual Machine (VM) and an on-premises network in a hybrid environment.
  • Resolve issues with Azure Virtual Network (VNet) peering not working as expected
  • Diagnose and fix problems with Azure Load Balancer distribution or availability.
  • Virtual Machines
  • Troubleshoot a VM that is stuck in a "Failed" or "Unresponsive" state in Azure
  • Resolve Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) or Secure Shell (SSH) access issues on an Azure VM
  • Recover a deleted disk from a deallocated VM
  • Azure Storage
  • Diagnose and resolve Azure Storage performance degradation issues

Azure Identity and Access

  • Troubleshoot Azure Active Directory (AAD) login issues for users or applications

Azure App Services

  • Diagnose and fix a web app in Azure App Service that is experiencing downtime or performance degradation

Azure SQL and Databases

Troubleshoot connectivity or latency issues with an Azure SQL Database

Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Active Directory

 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in on premise active directory.
  • Expert knowledge on DC partition, FSMO roles, seizure, and transfer.
  • Understanding of Forest and Domain level functional level.
  • Understanding of LDAP.LDS.
  • Hands on experience and strong troubleshooting skill in AD replication, Sites, KCC, etc., experience in planning and implementation of Active Directory Replication.
  • Expert knowledge and must have hands on experience on DC replication and underlying issues. health check commands.
  • Understanding of Trusts and knowledge on validating trusts, experience in designing and deploying new Active Directory domains and domain/ forest trusts.
  • Expert knowledge and must have worked on OUs, GPOs, GPO Modelling and analysing the issues.
