Job Description: 

Apigee Application developer

Experiance - 5yrs to 7yrs

Location - Hyderabad or Chennai or Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage API Proxies using Apigee for enterprise-scale applications
  • Lead end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for multi‑release, complex systems
  • Work on EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), B2B, and SOA-based projects
  • Develop and implement custom Apigee policies
  • Create APIs with robust security, traffic management, mediation, and extension policies, including:
    • OAuth 2.0, API Key validation, access control
    • Spike arrest, quota, threat protection
    • JSON to XML / XML to JSON transformations
    • XSLT, JavaScript policies
    • Variable assignment and removal
    • Comprehensive error handling
  • Develop Service APIs for signing and encryption mechanisms
  • Perform API analysis, monitoring, and performance tuning
  • Ensure complete technical and functional documentation
  • Conduct unit testing and end‑to‑end testing
  • Coordinate closely with stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and business users
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and actively participate in sprint ceremonies
  • Support deployment processes using GitHub and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Apigee (API Proxy design & development)
  • Expertise in REST API design and development
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript
  • API Security:
    • OAuth 2.0
    • API Keys
    • Access Control
  • JSON handling, JSON schema validation
  • Postman for API testing and debugging
  • Experience with GitHub for version control
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployments
  • Understanding of network troubleshooting
Mandatory Skills: Apigee EnterpriseAPI Management Platform .
