Job Description

Band: C1/C2- Archtect & Sr Architect

Location: Pan India- Wipro Office

Azure Architect – PaaS (Enterprise)

  1. Own enterprise Azure PaaS architecture strategy, standards, and guardrails.
  2. Act as final design authority for Azure PaaS platforms across the portfolio.
  3. Define reference architectures for App Service, Azure Functions, and APIM.
  4. Standardize application hosting, scalability, resiliency, and modernization patterns.
  5. Govern enterprise API platforms including exposure models, security, and SLAs.
  6. Define API lifecycle, versioning, throttling, and policy enforcement standards.
  7. Establish enterprise architecture for Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and PaaS data services.
  8. Govern data availability, backup, DR, performance, and cost optimization.
  9. Define secure storage and data access patterns using Azure Storage services.
  10. Establish PaaS network integration patterns using VNet Integration and Private Endpoints.
  11. Own security‑by‑design using Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
  12. Define compliance and audit guardrails aligned with regulatory requirements.
  13. Lead IaC standards using Terraform; govern ARM/Bicep and automation compliance.
  14. Define observability, reliability, and SRE‑aligned operational readiness standards.
  15. Drive Azure PaaS FinOps governance, cost optimization, and executive stakeholder influence.
