Job Description

  1. Azure Cloud operation Engineer (Networking, Windows & Epic)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate Azure cloud infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs), subnets, NSGs, NAT gateways, route tables, firewalls, Defender for Cloud, service endpoints, private endpoints, and peerings.
  • Set up and troubleshoot VPN connections (Point-to-Site with certificate-based & Azure AD authentication, Site-to-Site, and ExpressRoute).
  • Provision and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) including backup, update management, diagnostics, and scale sets (custom and native images).
  • Administer Recovery Services Vault for backup policies and Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery.
  • Provision and manage Azure Storage Accounts (blobs, file shares, tables, queues) with lifecycle management.
  • Configure and support Azure Load Balancer (Layer 4), Application Gateway (Layer 7), Azure Front Door, and Traffic Manager.
  • Troubleshoot network routing (system-defined and user-defined routes), latency issues, SSL certificate configurations, and hybrid on-prem to Azure network setups.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as IP Flow Verify, NSG flow logs, and packet capture for network troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with customers daily, providing solutions using tools such as DFM, Kusto, ASC, ASI, WIKI, and Data Explorer.
  • Foster team coordination and unity to minimize conflicts and ensure timely troubleshooting in a 24x7 project environment.
  • Support Epic EMR application

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Operations (IaaS & PaaS).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts: VNet, Subnet masking, OSI & TCP/IP models, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, NAT.
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud configurations (on-premises to Azure).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for latency, routing, and connectivity issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 support environment.
  • Secondary skills Epic EMR
