Key Responsibilities
•    Requirements Gathering & Analysis
o    Conduct workshops and interviews to capture business needs for aviation workflows (crew scheduling, flight ops, safety).
o    Analyze existing processes and identify gaps or optimization opportunities. 
•    Documentation & Standards
o    Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices.
o    Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with FAA/EASA standards. 
•    Stakeholder Management
o    Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity.
o    Manage change requests and perform impact analysis. 
•    Quality Assurance
o    Support UAT planning and execution; validate deliverables against requirements
•    Leadership
o    Mentor junior BAs and enforce documentation standards across aviation modules.

✅ Skills Required
Core BA Skills
•    Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and process modeling.
•    Expertise in BRD/FSD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
•    Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure ADO. Domain Knowledge
•    Deep understanding of aviation operations: Crew Scheduling, Flight Ops, Safety.
•    Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards.
•    Knowledge of Resource Scheduling Management Systems and CMS modules. 
Technical Awareness
•    Basic knowledge of cloud-native platforms, API integrations, and microservices.
•    Understanding of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and enterprise data models. 
Soft Skills
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
•    Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and adapt to dynamic aviation projects. 
Preferred Certifications
•    CBAP or PMI-PBA for business analysis.
•    SAFe® Agilist for scaled agile delivery.
•    Airline domain certifications (IATA or equivalent)
