Provide L2/L2+ operational support for Citrix environments including Citrix DaaS (Azure) and on-prem CVAD infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VDI sessions, application delivery, and user connectivity.
• Manage and support Citrix components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway, Citrix Studio, Director, and VDAs.
• Support Citrix PVS / MCS environments including vDisk management, image updates, and machine provisioning.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, login delays, session latency, and application launch problems.
• Work with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, DNS, networking, and Azure infrastructure.
• Assist with patching, upgrades, and configuration changes within the Citrix environment.
• Monitor system health and performance using Citrix Director and monitoring tools.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and operational procedures.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
• Experience supporting Citrix DaaS environments on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with CVAD versions 2402 and/or 2507.
• Good understanding of Citrix architecture and components:
◦ Delivery Controllers
◦ StoreFront
◦ Citrix Gateway
◦ Citrix Studio & Director
◦ VDAs
• Strong troubleshooting skills for:
◦ VDI connectivity issues
◦ Session performance problems
◦ Profile or login delays
◦ Application launch failures
• Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Windows Server.
• Experience working with PowerShell for Citrix administration is preferred.

Good to Have Skills
• Experience with NetScaler VPX / Citrix ADC administration or troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management.
• Familiarity with Azure networking and cloud infrastructure.

• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Citrix Director, Uber Agent, or similar.

Do
- Provide adequate support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower (platform/dbase/ middleware/ backup)
- Lead the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up etc. according to various system requirements to ensure a highly scalable and extensible solution
- Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing the current and future requirements
- Utilize and leverage the new features of all underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning of the installed databases and applications/ platforms, as applicable
- Strategize & implement disaster recovery plans and create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the tower
- Manage day-to-day operations by troubleshooting any issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing fixes to avoid similar issues.
- Plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower
- Review the technical performance of own tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce performance challenges
- Develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
- Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc.
- Provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team, internal stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps
- Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness
