Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide solutions and bridge the gap between technology and business know-how to deliver any client solution

͏Job Description:-

We are looking for an experienced candidate who has strong hands-on skills with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and can lead data governance activities, including setting up business glossaries, managing metadata, automating workflows, and establishing data ownership and quality processes. This role requires real project experience in using Collibra (not just documentation), with the ability to automate governance, integrate metadata, and support lineage and compliance,.

 Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Collibra communities, domains, roles, and responsibilities.

• Build custom workflows using Collibra Workflow Designer (BPMN).

• Capture and maintain technical and business lineage using Harvester or APIs.

• Integrate business glossaries with physical metadata across systems.

• Define and manage data quality rules and monitor them using Collibra.

•  Work with stakeholders to onboard new data sources and map to governance policies.

•  Use Collibra APIs or automation tools to integrate with external systems.

• Ensure proper stewardship and approval processes for data and terms.

 

S͏kills:-

Required Skills

•  5+ years of hands-on experience in Collibra (not just theoretical).

• Strong understanding of data governance, data ownership, and metadata management.

• Experience with Collibra Lineage Harvester and workflow automation (Groovy/BPMN).

• Able to use Collibra REST APIs for metadata ingestion or asset updates.

•  Experience mapping business glossary to physical assets (columns/tables).

• Exposure to data quality tools (e.g., Informatica IDQ, Great Expectations) is a plus.

• Knowledge on Collibra Protect.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills to work with business and IT users.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR) is a plus.

• Experience working with cloud platforms and modern data architectures is an advantage.
