Role Purpose

7-10 year's experience in delivering large scale applications with focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Experience with Familiarity with different file and message formats.

SWIFT, CAMT, XML, BAI2, CSV, MTXXX a definite plus. Strong hands on experience in middleware technologies JBoss or Mule or tomcat application servers. Experience in monitoring, triaging and performance tuning using Splunk, Dynatrace or AppDynamics (APM tools). Strong experience in Integration Technologies

Mule ESB IDE or equivalent, previous Middleware experiences. Experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes or any one the container platform. Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Mule, web Services, Kafka, SQL PL/SQL (Oracle) Strong knowledge of XML, JSON and its usage within API and Microservice implementations at scale. Able to contribute to automation, develop shared/common solutions. Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and Unit Testing (Cucumber/Litmus, JUnit) Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource able to coordinate dependencies across platform teams and teams working on business capabilities. Makes recommendations and ensures platform easily supports NFRs across multiple LOB initiatives and anticipated growth over 5 years. Strong verbal and written communication skills (both to a technical and non-technical audience) Analytical Thinking, Attention to Detail, Team Leadership, Problem Solving, Innovative thinking, mentoring. Collaborates with solution architects to ensure consistent design across platform components. Experience in a highly Agile continuous integration and continuous deployment environment, preferably within a financial domain. Has the knowledge and expertise of supporting production environments, and associated maintenance, change, control, incident and problem management.

Areas of responsibility

Gathering of requirements-Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.

Coding and Configuration-"Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Testing and Trial Runs-"Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Implementation-Participate in implementation of software application and its integration with other systems to ensure stability.

Maintain Documentation-Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, while presenting information using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well-structured code.

Stakeholder Collaboration-Collaborate with cross functional teams  to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.
