The purpose of this role is to interpret data and turn into information (reports, dashboards, interactive visualizations etc) which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions.

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python to join our team. The role involves managing Azure ML Ops, large data modelling, and leveraging the Databricks platform. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in data science, machine learning, and cloud-based solutions to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise Python for advanced data analysis, exploration, and processing to uncover insights and trends.
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms using Python, Azure Machine Learning, and Databricks.
- Manage and optimise ML Ops processes within the Azure environment, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain large-scale data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Utilise Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through effective data governance and validation processes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies to ensure best practices are applied.
