Job Description: 
  • Candidate must have strong hands‑on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, GCP, and a solid understanding of data engineering patterns and ETL pipelines.
  • Lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native architectures across banking strategic digital platforms.
  • Define end‑to‑end solution designs aligned with engineering, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Architect and optimise GCP-based solutions using Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Composer, IAM, and VPC.
  • Drive domain‑driven microservice design, API standards, and event-driven system integrations.
  • Experience with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline automation, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, and SRE principles including SLIs/SLOs, reliability engineering, and service observability.
  • Architect solutions for high availability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Risk teams across transformation programmes.
  • Support migration of legacy systems to GCP using strangler patterns and modernisation approaches.
  • Produce HLDs, LLDs, and contribute to Architecture Review Boards and governance forums.
  • Establish observability using logging, metrics, tracing frameworks (OpenTelemetry, GCP tools).
  • Ensure robust security, compliance, and resilience, including FCA, PSD2, Open Banking, and operational controls.
