Role Overview:

The Manager will manage day-to-day operations for Risk Adjustment Coding projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource management, and adherence to client SLAs. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and team coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of coders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of coding assignments.
  • Track operational metrics such as productivity, turnaround time, and SLA compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for resource planning and issue resolution.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management and clients.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
  • Handle escalations and provide quick resolutions to operational challenges.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members from an operational perspective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Life Sciences, Nursing, or equivalent healthcare background.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification (mandatory).
  • 12–14 years of experience in medical coding, with at least 10+ years in team lead role.
  • Proven experience in team handling and operations management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting tools

Preferred:

  • Experience in managing large-scale coding projects.
  • Familiarity with operational dashboards and workforce management tools.
