Role Purpose

The Informatica Developer will play a vital role in designing, testing, and maintaining scalable software programs and applications to be deployed at client sites, ensuring they meet stringent quality assurance standards. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements, develop ETL workflows, and optimize data integration processes. The successful candidate will drive improvements in data management systems and ensure seamless deployment of software solutions in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud services.
  • Conduct unit testing and support system integration tests to maintain software quality and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize SQL queries and develop complex Informatica repository queries to enhance data processing efficiency.
  • Participate in migration and upgrade projects, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to operational workflows.
  • Implement data quality frameworks and validation techniques to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
  • Contribute to build and release orchestration tasks, supporting multi-team deployments in both nearshore and offshore settings.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of changes and updates.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and deliver iterative improvements aligned with business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members to foster knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

͏Informatica Developer

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to join our Technology Services division, focusing on Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence projects. This role demands a deep understanding of Informatica iPaaS platforms along with extensive experience in Oracle/PL SQL environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience involving data analysis, ETL development, and software deployment.
  • Proven expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Strong command of Unix shell scripting to automate processes and support integration tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica system upgrades and migrations is highly desirable.
  • An informed approach to data quality methodologies and analytics techniques to enhance data integrity.
  • Direct experience working within Agile team frameworks, preferably in Financial Services or Banking sectors.
  • Familiarity with build release orchestration tools to facilitate smooth delivery pipelines.
  • Evident ability to collaborate on large-scale projects involving geographically distributed teams, including both nearshore and offshore resources.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and competence in developing complex repository queries in Informatica.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and programming in SQL to generate insightful reports and dashboards.
