Role Purpose

The Developer L3 - Mulesoft Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality integration solutions that meet client requirements. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery, enhanced system interoperability, and successful deployment of integration modules. The Developer will contribute to the continuous improvement of software standards and actively participate in the entire project lifecycle from requirement gathering to post-deployment support.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge enterprise applications within a collaborative environment at Wipro Technologies, supporting the journey of digital transformation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with client stakeholders through workshops and discussions to accurately gather and document business process and system integration requirements.
  • Design, develop, and configure Mulesoft-based integration components, ensuring code quality and alignment with client specifications.
  • Collaborate with system architects and developers to guarantee smooth integration and compatibility across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Perform unit testing and support comprehensive testing activities including system integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating module functionality and adherence to business needs.
  • Assist in the deployment and implementation phases, focusing on stable integration and minimal disruption to existing systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, system diagrams, code comments, and status reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.
  • Proactively identify potential issues or integration risks and work jointly with teams to develop effective mitigation strategies.

Technical Expertise and Tools

  • Proficiency in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform development, including designing APIs, connectors, and data transformation tasks.
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services integration, along with knowledge of JSON, XML, and other data formats.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build and release processes.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and security considerations pertinent to enterprise integration.
  • Comfort with DevOps practices and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Capable of writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to internal coding standards.

Active participation in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives is essential to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
