This role demands expertise in Oracle database architecture and hands-on development skills to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of database platforms, middleware, and backup systems. As a Lead Administrator L1, you will oversee day-to-day operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with organizational goals.

As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining complex PL/SQL programs and database objects that support enterprise applications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring data integrity, optimizing performance, and implementing solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and fine-tune PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages, ensuring high efficiency and maintainability.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries to enhance the performance and scalability of Oracle database environments.
• Collaborate closely with application developers, business stakeholders, and database administrators to gather requirements and transform them into effective technical designs.
• Implement rigorous data security measures, access controls, and data quality checks within database applications to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.
• Support data integration efforts, including ETL processes, to enable seamless flow of information across systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database architectures, configurations, and procedural changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior team members, and share best practices to elevate the team's overall technical proficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest Oracle technology advancements, industry trends, and compliance requirements to continually enhance systems and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL development with proven skills in SQL query tuning and troubleshooting complex database issues.
• Strong understanding of relational database design principles, normalization, and data modeling to support scalable solutions.
• Proficiency using Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, and TOAD, among others.
• Demonstrated ability to perform database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and optimization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and methodical approach to debugging and resolving database challenges.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within diverse, collaborative teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present technical information and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
