Job Description: 

Performance Testing Lead

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own performance test strategy, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for assigned applications. 
  • Gather and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) and define workload models and success criteria. 
  • Design, script, and maintain performance test scripts (Web HTTP/HTML) and test suites; manage test data and environments. 
  • Execute load, stress, endurance/soak, and scalability tests; identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations. 
  • Use APM/logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk) to correlate application, infrastructure, and database metrics with test results. 
  • Lead triage calls, drive root-cause analysis, and track actions to closure with cross-functional teams. 

Required Skills 

  • 6+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering. 
  • Strong expertise in LoadRunner (Performance Center). 
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring, diagnostics, and log analysis. 
  • Experience with requirements gathering and translating NFRs into performance test plans. 
  • Proven ability to lead triages and drive issues to resolution with multiple teams. 
  • Scripting expertise in VuGen (Web HTTP/HTML protocol). 
  • Strong analytical skills, including interpreting heap and thread dumps.
