Role Overview
Microsoft is seeking Audio Systems Engineers from Harman to support Surface Audio programs. The role focuses on audio bring-up, issue debugging, validation, and sustainment across multiple Surface devices in close collaboration with Microsoft and silicon partners.

Key Responsibilities
• Support audio subsystem bring-up during EVT/DVT/PVT phases.
• Debug and resolve audio issues across drivers, firmware, DSP, and OS layers.
• Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and fix validation.
• Analyze audio logs, traces, and dumps.
• Collaborate with Microsoft engineers and silicon/audio partners.
• Support audio validation, stress, and regression testing.
• Provide timely status updates, risks, and execution support during HOT issues.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in audio systems / audio software engineering.
• Good understanding of audio architectures (CODEC, DSP, AMP, I2S, SoundWire, etc.).
• Experience with embedded or OS-level audio stacks.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in cross-company/partner engineering models.
• Windows device driver experience

• Experience with Windows or Surface audio ecosystem.
• Exposure to Qualcomm / Realtek audio platforms.
• Knowledge of multi mic, voice, or audio tuning technologies.

• Flexibility to support onsite and extended hours during critical milestones.
• High ownership, fast execution, and clear communication.

Mandatory Skills :
