Job Description: 

ROR Tester

We are looking for an experienced ROR Tester with 7–10 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Ruby on Rails application testing, Selenium automation, Java, and SQL, with the ability to design, develop, and execute robust automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing of Ruby on Rails (ROR) applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts using Selenium.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for backend/database validation.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
  • Identify, track, and report defects through the defect lifecycle.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and release activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong experience in ROR Testing
  • Hands-on experience in Selenium Automation
  • Good programming knowledge in Java
  • Strong SQL skills for database testing
  • Experience with test case design and execution
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills:

  • API Testing
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Git version control
  • BDD frameworks (Cucumber/TestNG)

Work Location: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad
Notice Period: Immediate to 90 Days
Mandatory Skills: SDET .
