Role Purpose

The SAP DQ Architect plays a pivotal role in bridging the technological expertise and business insights necessary to develop and deliver comprehensive client data quality solutions. This position requires a proactive individual who can analyze, design, and implement data quality strategies and tools that enhance enterprise data integrity, specifically supporting Master Data Management (MDM) projects within the consumer domain. The role involves collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements, identify data quality gaps, and establish sustainable processes for ongoing data governance and improvement.

By integrating technical proficiency with strategic problem-solving, this role drives excellence in data profiling, quality monitoring, and migration activities, ensuring client data assets meet high standards of accuracy and consistency. The SAP DQ Architect will also mentor team members and contribute to project planning and execution, positioning themselves as a key advisor in data quality best practices and SAP-specific tools.

Job Details

1. Demonstrated expertise in data profiling, data quality management, and developing actionable dashboards across a minimum of three successful implementations, showcasing advanced analytical skills and an ability to translate data insights into business value.
2. Proficient experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Quality (BODQ) and SAP Information Steward, having successfully executed at least two projects utilizing these platforms to monitor and enhance data quality standards.
3. Strong background in managing data quality concerns within Master Data Management initiatives, especially focusing on product and material data entities to support accurate business operations and decision-making.
4. Knowledge of product data specifications and management, particularly within the consumer goods sector, is considered an advantageous attribute, providing deeper domain context for solution development.
5. Skilled in conducting detailed data profiling activities informed by functional requirements, enabling the identification and recommendation of targeted data quality rules and improvements.
6. Effective collaboration skills to engage with both functional teams and technical stakeholders, contributing to data model understanding, identifying gaps, and proposing remediation plans for enhanced data integrity.
7. Competent in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to facilitate ongoing data quality monitoring, enabling insights-driven continuous improvement practices.
8. Ability to independently lead discussions and workshops with client stakeholders, presenting data quality strategies and obtaining consensus on solution roadmaps.
9. Supportive role in project planning and execution phases, working alongside delivery leads to ensure timely and quality delivery of data quality solutions.
10. Participate in the design, review, and validation of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases related to data quality, providing user support and feedback to ensure robust implementation outcomes.
11. Familiarity with Syniti or similar data migration platforms is a desirable skill that adds value for end-to-end data migration projects.
