SAP Workflow

Key Responsibilities and skills
SKILLS • RICEFW with OOPs • RAP • Fiori and OData • CDS based BOPF. • CDS Views and AMDP • Classical Reports, Module-pool programming • IDocs, proxy interfaces, RFC FMs, Service Consumers • Conversion exits, BDC and standard BAPIs. • Implicit and explicit enhancements, user-exits, customer-exits, BAdIs and BDT • Smart forms and Adobe Forms • ABAP Webdynpro • ABAP workflows, Flexi Workflows, BRF+
1. S/4HANA Technical Development
• Develop & enhance RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Strong knowledge in workflow, Oops concepts.
• Design and implement CDS Views (basic, composite, consumption) with UI/analytics/OData annotations.
• Develop AMDP, optimized Open SQL, and HANA efficient ABAP code.
• Build/extend OData services for Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Customize/enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications including debugging (aligned with skills
• Develop advanced S/4 reports using CDS, AMDP, Embedded Analytics.

2. Workflow Development
• Design, configure, and develop SAP Workflows (standard & custom).
• Troubleshoot workflow issues using SWIA, SWI1, SWI2_FREQ, SWEL.
• Implement and support Flexible Workflows in S/4HANA.

3. Forms Development
• Develop and customize SAP Adobe Forms (SFP), print programs, and form layouts.

4. EHSM (Environment, Health & Safety Management) Module Support
• Develop enhancements for EHSM incident management, risk assessment, safety observations, and compliance workflows.
• Work with EHSM BOPF objects (e.g., /BOBF/EHSM_INCIDENT, /BOBF/EHSM_RISK) for data modeling.
• Develop & enhance EHSM FPM applications, feeder classes, UI configurations.
• Implement regulatory compliance reports and safety workflows.
• Provide cross functional support with PM/QM/EHS teams.
5. Cross Functional Support
• Collaborate with functional teams across MM, SD, FI, PP, QM, EWM, PM, EHSM.
• Provide technical analysis and solution design in complex, multi module environments.
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and production hyper care.

  • Independently work as an expert in the respective SAP technical workstream for an SAP implementation/conversion/development/enhancement /support project
  • High level design, detailed design and develop technical / integration solutions to meet those needs
  • Work with clients to understand their business needs and processes
  • Participate in technical and technology workshops to understand and deliver integration requirements
  • Drive client discussions to define the integration requirements and translate the requirements to the technical solution
  • Provide training and support to end-users
  • Write technical specifications and test plan for development team to ensure test driven development
  • Manage projects and timelines
  • Provide expert support to various projects and delivery engagements as and when required
  • Drive innovation/transformation agenda in large existing accounts, provide delivery
  • Provide delivery support and escalation management
  • Interaction with SAP and with party partners
