Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform solution and scale testing for VxLAN/EVPN, MPLS overlays, QoS, and RoCE/RoCEv2
- Design and execute high‑scale traffic and protocol emulation using Ixia (IxNetwork)
- Validate throughput, latency, jitter, loss, microbursts, and convergence at scale
- Test QoS behaviors (classification, queuing, shaping, policing, congestion handling)
- Validate RoCE lossless fabrics (PFC, ECN, congestion behavior, latency sensitivity)
- Automate test execution and reporting using Python/REST APIs
- Produce clear test plans, results, and defect reports
Required Skills
- 6–8+ years in network testing/validation or performance engineering
- Strong hands‑on expertise with VxLAN/EVPN and MPLS
- Solid understanding of QoS design and validation
- Experience testing RoCE / RoCEv2 environments
- Very strong Ixia (IxNetwork) experience at high scale
- Python‑based test automation experience
- Strong protocol knowledge: BGP (EVPN), OSPF/IS‑IS, ECMP
Preferred
- Data center leaf‑spine or large‑scale fabric testing
- Experience with lossless Ethernet and congestion management
- Exposure to multi‑vendor environments
