As a key contributor within the Technology Services sector and the TTMS - AMS (EA) practice, you will collaborate closely across teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable systems that meet evolving client needs. Your responsibilities will encompass developing strategic solutions integrating Datadog’s stack, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, while fostering robust incident response and alerting mechanisms.

1. 6-9 years of comprehensive hands-on experience working with Datadog’s monitoring and analytics suite across diverse multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
2. Strong foundation in systems engineering principles or software development methodologies, enabling holistic understanding of complex system interactions.
3. Proven expertise with container orchestration using Kubernetes and practical experience with major public cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
4. Advanced proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Go, Python, and Java to develop automation scripts and customize monitoring solutions.
5. Deep understanding of monitoring strategies, alert configurations, and incident management procedures to ensure system reliability and quick remediation.
6. Solid grasp of cloud-native application architectures and microservices design, facilitating efficient deployment and scaling of distributed applications.
7. Experience designing and managing high-throughput, low-latency systems ensuring optimal performance under demanding conditions, complemented by strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and leveraging monitoring tools for automated feedback and system health tracking.
9. Comprehensive knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems internals, networking concepts, and system-level troubleshooting.
10. Experience building and maintaining distributed systems with high availability requirements and disaster recovery strategies.
11. Expertise in containerization using Docker, advanced Kubernetes features, and integration with service mesh technologies to enhance security and traffic management.
12. Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi adds valuable advantages; competency in building dashboards, designing monitors, and configuring alert systems enhances operational visibility and proactive issue resolution.
13. Familiar with automation frameworks and workflow orchestration tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI to streamline deployment, rollback, and testing processes efficiently.
