Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer with a strong background in Snowflake and AWS cloud services to join our data analytics team. This role is ideal for a data visualization expert who can work closely with business stakeholders to design and develop scalable, insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of data warehousing, cloud data architecture, and business intelligence best practices.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
•    Write complex SQL queries to source, transform, and analyze data from Snowflake.
•    Integrate data sources from AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Athena) into Tableau via Snowflake or direct connections.
•    Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and translate insights into impactful visualizations.
•    Optimize Tableau workbooks and queries for performance and scalability.
•    Build and maintain data models that support dashboard development and ad-hoc analysis.
•    Work with ETL pipelines and collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality data availability.
•    Enforce governance, documentation, and version control best practices across Tableau projects.
•    Mentor junior developers and guide visualization standards across the team.
 
Required Qualifications:
•    6 to 8 years of experience in data analytics or BI development, with a strong focus on Tableau.
•    Proven expertise in developing interactive dashboards, visual storytelling, and user-friendly designs.
•    Strong SQL skills with experience working on Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
•    Experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and IAM.
•    Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and BI lifecycle.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Tableau Server or Tableau Desktop certification.
•    Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks.
•    Familiarity with CI/CD practices in BI development.
•    Exposure to dbt, Airflow, or similar tools in modern data stack.
•    Experience in Agile/Scrum-based development environments.
