Job Description

The Azure Cloud Workload Security Engineer is responsible for securing cloud-based workloads and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud security,Network Security,VPC/VNet, SG, Direct connect, Express Route, Pala Alto management, Jenkins. 
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, network protocols, and threat protection.
• Experience with security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor Azure workloads for threats, intrusions, and unauthorized activity.
  • Configure and manage SIEM tools for real-time alerting and log aggregation.
  • Conduct forensic analysis and root cause investigations of security incidents.
  • Participate in incident response and contingency planning exercises.

• Identity & Access Management

  • Administer Azure Active Directory (AAD), AAD Connect, and ADFS.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and manage role-based access controls.
  • Conduct account reviews and manage permissions lifecycle.

• Security Architecture & Compliance

  • Design secure cloud environments using Azure services (e.g., Key Vault, Security Center).
  • Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, FedRAMP.
  • Maintain an information security risk register and support audits
