Job description for VMware requirement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong experience (15+ years) with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
    • Proficiency in configuring and managing virtual networking (vSwitches, VLANs, distributed switches).
    • Experience with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, vSAN) and their integration with VMware.
    • Knowledge of VMware features like vMotion, HA, DRS, and FT.
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in virtualized environments, including performance bottlenecks and hardware/software failures.
    • Familiarity with automation tools like PowerCLI, PowerShell, or Ansible for managing VMware environments.
    • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems in virtualized environments.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification.
    • Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
