Job Description:-

Cisco Network Engineer opportunity I'm looking to fill and wanted to share the profile requirements in case you have suitable candidates in your network.

What we're looking for:

 

  • Certification: CCNP-level (active or equivalent experience)
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in networking, with demonstrated hands-on Cisco expertise across enterprise and data centre environments
  • Wireless: Hands-on experience with Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points (APs) is required
  • Data Centre: Experience with Cisco Nexus 9K (N9K) switches, Nexus Dashboard, and spine-leaf architecture is essential
  • Security & Protocols: Solid working knowledge of TLS, IPSec, and L2/L3 technologies (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
  • Day-One Readiness: Candidate must be able to hit the ground running as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) from day one

  1. Depth of hands-on Cisco experience – specific platforms, technologies, and scale of environments worked in
  2. Total years of Cisco-focused experience
  3. Self-assessed Cisco expertise level – rated out of 5, with a brief justification
  4. Day-one SME readiness – confirmation the candidate can perform independently without a ramp-up period
  5. Communication clarity – noted alongside technical capability
  6. Brief technical summary – a concise overview of their most relevant skills and experience

 

Profiles submitted without this assessment will be difficult to move forward with, so I appreciate your diligence in gathering this upfront — it will help streamline the review process on our end.
