1. Infrastructure Architecture & IaC Strategy

  • Define and implement standardized Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform.
  • Design reusable, modular, and version‑controlled Terraform modules for consistent deployments.
  • Establish environment‑agnostic patterns enabling repeatable builds across Dev, Test, and Production.
  • Enforce infrastructure standards and governance controls through code.

2. Platform Provisioning & Automation

  • Lead automated provisioning of cloud and database infrastructure platforms.
  • Eliminate manual configuration through end‑to‑end automation.
  • Integrate Terraform deployments with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Ensure controlled, auditable, and predictable infrastructure changes.

3. Reliability, Monitoring & Operations

  • Design and implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability for platform components.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation for infrastructure issues.
  • Define and maintain operational runbooks and SOPs.
  • Ensure infrastructure availability and reliability aligned to defined SLAs.

4. Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Embed security‑by‑design principles into Terraform configurations.
  • Enforce access management, policy compliance, and governance controls through IaC.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements with traceable, version‑controlled deployments.
  • Improve overall security posture of infrastructure platforms.

5. Cost Optimization & Scalability

  • Design infrastructure to support elastic scalability and future growth.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies, including right‑sizing and usage governance.
  • Continuously review infrastructure patterns to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Experience designing enterprise‑scale infrastructure platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP – Azure preferred).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, incident management, and RCA.
  • Knowledge of security, access management, and governance in cloud environments.
  • Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills..

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
