Job Description - Windows Administrator

 

Working Knowledge on Windows & Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP

•Installation and configuring Windows 2016/2019 server.

•Designing Group Policies and managing them.

•Distributed File System (DFS) and should have worked on ADAM/LDAP.

•Troubleshooting inter-domain and inter-forest Trusts.

•File Replica on Services (FRS)

•Mentoring troubleshooting techniques to team members and colleagues.  

•Problem determination and resolution within SLA's

•Should be able to Perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents Handle technical escalations.

•Monitoring proactive server alerts and sensitize them and resolve it in best possible way.

•Work on Severity 1 / Severity 2 / Severity 3 / Severity 4 incidents and fix them ASAP.

•Excellent Technical Solution Engineering

•Customer sensitivity and Rapid Response

•Windows 2016 and Windows 2019 server administration

•Antivirus – Windows defender

•Product awareness & Third-Party Tools In-depth technical experience and knowledge on Microsoft

•Experience in Terminal servers (Admin mode),VMWARE Administrator, Windows Clustering, Print Servers, SCCM, SCOM etc.

•Knowledge in Active directory, Powershell Script, DNS, DHCP, WINS, VMware/Citrix, and related components

•Problem determination and resolution within SLA's

•Should be able to Perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents Handle technical escalations.

•Ability to acquire; new skills & keep them updated.

•Work with Local & Global Teams.
Mandatory Skills: ITIL - IT Hardware Asset Management .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .
