Role: IT Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC (3 Days/ week)
Role:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining and driving program outcomes in alignment with business and technology stakeholders. The role ensures end-to-end delivery governance, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to timelines, financial targets, and risk controls. The PM establishes strong stakeholder relationships across business, technology, compliance, and risk functions, while enabling seamless execution through structured program routines, dependency management, and performance tracking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and align program objectives and target outcomes with stakeholders and leadership
Build and maintain relationships across business, technology, compliance, and risk teams
Plan, coordinate, and govern delivery across multiple interdependent projects/organizations
Facilitate program routines such as kick-offs, status reviews, steerco meetings, tollgates, and change controls
Drive cross-functional communication and collaboration to meet delivery timelines
Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and impediments proactively
Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders including progress, risks, and schedule adherence
Ensure execution remains aligned with defined outcomes and stakeholder expectations
Track KPIs/success metrics and conduct performance reviews with leadership
Manage program financials including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
Contribute to and improve change management processes and governance standards
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong experience as an IT Project/Program Manager in large enterprise environments (preferably banking domain)
Hands-on experience with BAC project management tools and governance frameworks
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality or timelines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Effective communication and executive-level presentation skills
Expertise in budget/financial management and resource planning
Experience in risk, dependency, and issue management across complex programs
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
