- Experience as an iSeries/AS400 Administrator.
- Install, configure and maintain IBM i (AS/400/iSeries/Power Systems) operating systems and environments.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to maintain optimal performance.
- Manage IPL(Initial Program Load) schedules, job queues, and system resources.
- Apply PTFs(Program Temporary Fixes), OS upgrades, and firmware updates as per change management process.
- Create and manage user profiles, group profiles and authority levels.
- Implement and monitor security controls and compliance standards.
- Manage object-level authorities, password policies and audit journals.
- Configure and manage BRMS(Backup, Recovery, and Media Services) for automated backup operations.
- Monitor and validate backup jobs, perform data restores when required.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery(DR) drills and maintain system recovery documentation.

- Monitor system logs, job queues, schedule and maintain batch jobs and automation scripts using CL programs.
- Generate capacity performance and availability reports.
- Maintain incident/problem/change management records in ITSM tools.
- Strong Knowledge of IBM I OS, CL Programming, and system utilities.
- IBM Certified System Administrator - IBM i (preferred).
- Experience supporting ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP on IBM i.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
