Role: Business Analyst
Location : Irving,Tx (3 days onsite per week)
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intake Business Analyst to join our Business Engagement & Solution team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing specifically on data-centric initiatives within the Wealth domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both business analysis and software development, enabling them to contribute effectively across the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to solution implementation and testing, including active participation in coding.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate business requirement discussions with stakeholders, including Wealth Product and Platform (PP) teams and Technology, to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business needs, ensuring clarity across all deliverables.
Develop high-level solution designs, contribute to solution design by identifying system enhancements and defining objectives, and provide accurate estimation and sizing for proposed initiatives.
Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications, ensuring clarity and readiness for development teams.
Author detailed Functional Requirements (FR) documentation.
Conduct thorough reviews of Functional Requirements with business and technology teams to secure formal sign-off.
Collaborate closely with Technical Project Managers (TPM) and development teams throughout execution sprints, assisting in development and implementation efforts.
Review test scenarios and actively contribute to the creation and validation of pre-production test cases.
Actively participate in development/coding tasks as required by project needs.
Understand and document regulatory data requirements, life cycle processes, and compliance obligations.
Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively to Intake Team management to ensure smooth execution.
Partner with stakeholders across Business, Data Governance, Finance, and IT to align on scope and delivery expectations.
Support system enhancement efforts by defining scope, objectives, and business requirements.
Participate in data quality issue resolution and remediation of data proxies through structured processes (e.g., DCRMs, releases).
Support continuous improvement by driving closure of data quality issues and facilitating remediation of data issues using approved frameworks and tools.
Provide daily check-ins and weekly updates/dashboards to the Intake Team Manager and Director.
Required Skills:
Domain Expertise:
Data: In-depth understanding of data lifecycle management, including data mapping, data quality assurance, data governance, data lineage, and data metrics. Proven ability to define data tables, columns, create curated data layers for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and aggregation, and expertise in Systems of Record (SORs) and Authorized Redistributors (ARs).
Wealth Domain/Business: Strong knowledge and experience within the Wealth Management industry, understanding its products, processes, and regulatory landscape.
Business Analysis Acumen:
Demonstrated experience in business requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
Proficiency in creating user stories and functional specifications.
Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Proficiency & Coding Experience:
Mandatory prior experience as a software developer with hands-on coding experience.
Ability and willingness to engage in coding tasks as part of the role.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
