Required Skills and Experience:

  • Administration experience on Omnissa Horizon View 8.x Infrastructure
  • Hands on expertise on upgrade of Connection servers & its associated VDI Infrastructure components
  • Have clear understanding on Managing Horizon View Certificates and timely updating
  • Instant Clone and Persistent Desktop pools VDI Management skill on Horizon View 8.x Infrastructure
  • Should be able to create, manage and scale Persistent and Dynamic desktop pools according to business needs
  • Troubleshooting skills of VDI connectivity and components like – View Agent, View Client, Printers, Display issues
  • Able to create and deploy Golden Template and Master Image required for VDI OS and Version upgrades
  • Should be well versed with Cloud POD architecture and able to resolve replication issues with connection servers in ADAM DB
  • Should have good understanding on RDSH based deployments of applications for multiple users and will be able to do software upgrade in phased manner
  • Should have excellent skills on VDI performance tuning and able to analyse and resolve slowness issues with help of tools like – Systrack, VMware vROPS, vCenter Performance charts
  • Need to have good skill on Ivanti Environment Manager and Application Manager deployments and enforcements
  • Should be able to work with Omnissa and other vendors to escalate product related issues and close it independently.
  • Have good understanding of SCCM deployments and troubleshoot software installation issues on VDI’s
  • Have good understanding of FS Logix profiles and MS One drive concepts to resolve user issues
  • Have good understanding of O365 and Outlook issues with user profile and resolve user issues.
  • Should be well versed with Powershell scripts and automation for large scale reporting and deployments
  • Should have good understanding on Monitoring consoles to monitor the VDI’s availability
  • Expected to have ITIL Incident and Change management skills and have willingness to save SLA’s and Timelines.
Mandatory Skills: Vmware VDI .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
